Vice President and Partner of BCL Appraisals, Inc., was born in St.
Paul, MN. Lee grew up on the east side of St. Paul and attended Sacred
Heart Elementary School and later graduated from Hill High School in
1969. Lee attended Milwaukee School of Engineering for two years, majoring
in architecture then transferred to St. Paul Technical College for one
year to complete his degree in Construction Drafting.
Lee’s real estate background began with the design and bidding
of commercial buildings, highway design, structure and runway design
for the Metropolitan Airport Commission, and flood control through the
Federal Corps of Engineers. With a desire to continue to enhance his
real estate and building knowledge, Lee attended Inver Hills Community
College where, in 1984, he obtained a degree in Real Estate and Appraisal.
For several years Lee has been involved in sharing his experiences
and knowledge as a teacher and a guest speaker at Inver Hills Community
College, University of Minnesota, St. Paul Technical Vocational Institute,
Appraisal Institute, and State Board of Assessors. In addition, Lee
has designed and taught legal description seminars for Ramsey and Washington
Counties.
In 1997 Lee merged his own real estate appraisal company with BCL
Appraisals, Inc. Lee has been appraising real estate for over 20 years
and is proficient
in Conventional, FHA, and VA appraisals. Lee has
extensive experience in expert testimony, assessment appeals, new construction,
commercial, before and after valuations, condemnations, and appraisal
reviews. His high degree of ethics and quality of work combined with
his knowledge and reputation has helped him to train several appraisers
over the years.
Lee enjoys fishing, boating and swimming activities, as well as summer
drives with his wife in his convertible. Most of all, family get-togethers
and gatherings are at the top of his favorites list.
