Ronald (Ron) Retzer graduated from Mankato State University in 1979
with a Bachelor of Science degree. He went to work for Coldwell Banker
Real Estate in June of 1979 primarily working in the Corporate Relocation
Division. Ron received his designation with the National Association
of Independent Fee Appraisers in 1983 and began doing appraisal work
with Coldwell Banker at that time. From 1984 to 1991, Ron was the director
of Corporate Relocation Division for Coldwell Banker Real Estate in
the Twin Cities and also performed appraisals for the firm during that
time. In August of 1991, Ron joined BCL Appraisals, Inc. as a staff
appraiser and became a partner on January 1, 2002.
Ron has been a resident of Bloomington, Minnesota for over 46 years.
He and his wife, Julie, have been married for over 20 years and have two
children: Tyler and Chelsea. Ron enjoys golf, fishing, traveling
and spending time at the family cabin on Gull Lake near Brainerd, Minnesota.
